Independent and non-independent refrigeration units are divided according to the power source. Independent refrigeration units refer to refrigeration units with independent power sources.
Generally speaking, independent refrigeration units are all integrated structures with modified split structures (this structure is generally hoisted on the beam of the car).
This unit itself provides power and electricity to the refrigeration system, has an engine and generator device, can work independently, and is not restricted by the working state of the car engine.
As the name suggests, non-independent refrigeration units are refrigeration units that cannot work independently. This type of unit itself has no power device and must rely on the car engine to drive the compressor to work.
From a structural point of view, non-independent refrigeration units are split structures, and the split structure includes three forms: condenser front type, condenser top type and condenser bottom type (chassis type or concealed type).
However, the most common structural form of the condenser front structure split independent refrigeration unit
Advantages and disadvantages of independent refrigeration units and non-independent refrigeration units
The advantage of independent refrigeration units is that they are stable and reliable, which is also what refrigerated trucks need most. Since independent refrigeration units have a separate power output source, the refrigeration unit can still work when the refrigerated truck is turned off or the engine fails in the refrigerated truck, thus ensuring that the goods in the refrigerated compartment will not deteriorate.
Disadvantages of independent refrigeration units: The disadvantages of independent refrigeration units are that they are expensive and more complicated to repair than non-independent units. Since there is an additional power system, independent refrigeration units are more complicated in maintenance than non-independent refrigeration units, and independent refrigeration units are relatively more complex in technology and more expensive.
Advantages of non-independent refrigeration units: The advantages of non-independent refrigeration units are that they are cheap, simple in structure, and easy to maintain and maintain.
Disadvantages: The disadvantage of non-independent refrigeration units is that they are too dependent on the power source of the refrigerated truck.
If the car door is opened frequently when the car is turned off, the air conditioning beam in the car compartment will be lost, causing the temperature in the car compartment to rise, or when the car fails (engine failure), the refrigeration unit will also stop refrigeration, and the goods in the car compartment will be easily damaged.
